About Us
It was through the pastorate of Father Cossman, that the five counties of LaSalle, Henry, Bureau, Putnam and Rock Island were added to the Peoria Diocese, which began in 1877.
The first St. Joseph School was built in 1886 and housed the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. Many years ago, St. Joseph Parish consolidated with the parishes of St. Valentine and St. Mary churches. Father Gary Blake is the pastor and administrator of all three parishes and school.

Our Parish
